Cornerstone is also committed to providing the safest retirement living environment for our residents, which is why we provide vaccination support, as well as PCR testing for COVID-19 at each location.

Balanced nutrition and freshly sourced ingredients are always important. Our goal is to satisfy the senses, and make the dining experience something residents look forward to with every meal.
Our set menus are based on a four-week seasonal rotation that is changed two times per year. Everything is freshly prepared in our kitchen, including a mouth-watering assortment of delicious desserts.
We also offer a wide variety of fresh fruit, snacks and refreshments daily in our cafe. Are you celebrating a special occasion? Book a family meal or host a dinner party for friends in our private dining room.

Steven Graham
Chief Executive Officer
Steve is an accomplished manager and team leader with architectural training and real estate development expertise, which he uses to direct multi-disciplinary teams through development processes and deliver successful projects.
During his tenure as the Associate Vice President, Development for Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT he was involved in all aspects of the development process on the more than 40 retirement living communities.
Bayne Anderson
Vice President, Development
Bayne is the Vice President, Development of Cornerstone. In his capacity he is responsible for the development and construction of Cornerstone’s senior living communities. From land acquisition to building completion, he manages all aspects of the process including entitlements, financing, design and construction.
Bayne has over 20 years of experience in real estate development, design and construction in US and Canada. Prior to Cornerstone, Bayne oversaw the development and construction of mixed-use, multi-family, residential, hospitality and senior living community projects for organizations like MTCO Holdings, Build Toronto, Minto and Intrawest.
Bayne holds a Master in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey Business School, Western University and a Master in Architecture from the University of Colorado.
Gail Gleed
Vice President, Finance
Gail is a senior financial professional with over 30 years of experience across a broad spectrum of industries, including technology, construction and seniors housing, and most recently as Director of Finance for Regal Lifestyle Communities Inc.
She has global exposure working in the US, UK, and Gibraltar. Gail is a strong leader, guiding her team through system implementations, system conversions, process improvements, and internal control implementations.
Cecilia Hartl
Vice President, Operations
Cecilia is a Senior Living Operations Executive with 20+ years of experience managing operations within luxury hotels and retirement living. She has driven profitability by identifying opportunities that blend strategic vision with company objectives, while always ensuring a high level of cooperation, service, and support for residents.
Her work history includes overseeing large-scale capital improvements projects, controlling budgets, managing, and motivating staff, as well as addressing clients’ concerns. In Cecilia’s own words: “A company is only as good as its people, and I abide by Richard Branson’s adage: If you take care of your people, they will take care of your clients”.
Sara Cronkwright
Director, Sales and Marketing
Sara Cronkwright is a results-driven sales professional with 20+ years of experience in Retirement Living. Sara has extensive training and education in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, and Graphic Design.
Sara has held various titles and roles in the industry including Recreation Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Assistant Director, Executive Director, and Director of Sales and Marketing. These various roles have helped her develop a successful, in-depth sales and marketing program for multiple retirement residences in Ontario.
Caroline Werkhoven
Operations Lead
With 20+ years of experience, Caroline’s wealth of experience, combined with her background as a Registered Nurse, has allowed her to maximize success at all levels of operations. She worked as a Director of Care in retirement living for one year then as a General Manager of retirement living for 14 years, and she was a Regional Director of Operations for MTCO Holdings for 5 years.
She has been recognized by ORCA with an award for 10 years of 100% compliance with ORCA standards. Caroline is passionate about improving quality of care and services to our residents, making their experience enjoyable and positive.
